Enogia technology, in three points
ENOGIA addresses major industrial challenges in the energy transition, low-carbon power generation and clean mobility. A global designer of micro-turbomachinery, it uses its proprietary technology in Organic Rankine Cycle heat-to-power systems and air compressors for hydrogen fuel cells. ENOGIA uses its unique patented micro-turbomachinery to address major environmental and energy-transition challenges. A global leader in small- and medium-scale heat-to-power conversion, the company offers a broad range of ORC modules that generate low-carbon electricity from waste or renewable heat. ENOGIA is both an ORC manufacturer and a clean-electricity provider through its Green Shield Power Solution PPA offer.
Its dedicated research and development team works at the forefront of carbon capture and storage, supercritical-CO₂ cycles, ocean thermal energy conversion and hydrogen fuel-cell efficiency. Founded in 2009 and based in Marseille, ENOGIA employs around 50 people who design, manufacture and market environmentally responsible technologies. ENOGIA’s ORC modules and turbomachinery expertise
Based on the Organic Rankine Cycle, ENOGIA’s technology converts unused heat from engines, thermal processes, incinerators and renewable sources such as biogas and geothermal energy into low-carbon electricity.
Each compact modular unit is delivered ready to operate. It integrates heat exchangers, a working-fluid circuit, a patented high-speed micro-turbine, generator, automated controls and lubrication. The range covers 10 to 180 kWe; modules can be combined, and multi-megawatt plants can be designed for larger sites.
The closed-loop systems use a low-global-warming-potential organic fluid optimised for heat sources between 70°C and 200°C. They offer rapid integration, reduced maintenance and efficient performance in industrial and marine environments, improving energy efficiency while lowering carbon emissions.
To accelerate adoption, ENOGIA also offers Green Shield, a turnkey solution with no upfront investment. Based on a power purchase agreement, it supplies green electricity below prevailing market prices, while ENOGIA and its partners provide installation, operation and maintenance. Already deployed at numerous sites, Green Shield makes the energy transition simpler, immediate and accessible.
